LandVac is a superior glazing unit that has been designed and manufactured by LandGlass.
The product is made up of two flat tempered glass panes that are separated by micro support pillars, sealed around the edges, and formed with a vacuum chamber in the cavity. This vacuum chamber is what makes LandVac stand out from other traditional double glazing units. The vacuum acts as an insulating layer, reducing heat transfer and providing exceptional thermal performance.
LandVac Enhance offers a range of benefits for listed projects and buildings located in conservation areas. With its innovative design and advanced features, it overcomes the limitations of standard double glazing and provides a superior solution. Eliminating double reflection (addressing planning permission concerns), LandVac Enhance stands out as a reliable and energy-efficient choice.
The number one key distribution partner of LandVac vacuum glazing in London and the South East of England.
LandVac Ultra Clear is a high-performance, low-iron vacuum unit specifically designed to maximize light transmittance. This product offers enhanced clarity compared to the standard LandVac Enhance model, due to its use of low-iron glass, which significantly improves visibility.
A client has used a thermal camera where warmer areas are brighter and cooler areas are darker. The images have captured the difference in temperature between LandVac and a single pane of glass.
The darker panes are LandVac, showing how effectively it retains heat by preventing it from passing through the glass. The orange panes are single glazing, showing significant heat transfer and energy loss. The overall outcome being that less heat is lost through the Landvac pane and more through the alternate glazing method.
Since taking the images our client has decided to extend their project and capitalise on using even more LandVac.
